The Boudoir apartment is a multi-purpose home featuring sophisticated design elements that move to provide distinct functions when needed. All walls are clad with custom wood veneer cabinets. When all the cabinetry is stowed away, the apartment takes the form of a serene studio. When deployed these panels increase privacy level as needed to support very different functions.
Boudoir can be dramatically subdivided by rotating 3 panels that enclose a bedroom with a murphy bed. The headboard cabinetry is luxuriously upholstered with side niches and drawers, and the bed is motorized. That same space also becomes a room for dressing up in preparation for celebrity events.
In the other corner of the studio a motorized table tilts down to create a generous dining area on the same footprint as the living room where the sofa does double duty. Onyx stone lines the table and is backlit with color changing lights.
At the heart of the apartment is a hidden glam desk, with a pair of mirror panels. The glam table is the little jewel box in the small studio space. When the doors open, it creates a place where the client can have a glam moment, surrounded by mirrors, lights, and bling. The light behind glistening panels refracts and creates a dramatic shine and sparkle.
